Outdoor Natural Ice Skating Rink - Call for Volunteers

Developing an outdoor natural skating rink will require dedicated volunteers to flood and scrape the surface during the winter months. These tasks would be carried out early in the morning and late in the evening.  Without a team of volunteers this project will not be possible. We are hoping you are interested.  If you are willing to play a role, please contact the Recreation Department at 902-625-2591 or email phcc@mac.com.

A volunteer meeting for all those interested will be held on Monday, December 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre to learn more about the project.
