Pitt Street / Napean Street Reconstruction Project

Notice to Residents of Napean Street and Pitt Street

New concrete sidewalk will be installed on Napean Street between Philpott Street and Embree Street on Monday and Tuesday.  In addition new concrete curb will be installed on Pitt Street between Granville Street and Prince Street on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Work will be carried out between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm, and curb side parking on the street will be permitted during non-construction work hours.  Driveway access may be prohibited for a number of days as concrete needs a period to harden.

Residents are asked to please park outside the construction area during working hours and drivers are urged to use extra caution when driving through construction zones and to be aware of increased truck traffic and on-site workers.

Town of Port Hawkesbury thanks residents for their cooperation while we complete these infrastructure improvements.
