Asset Management Pilot Project

A Message from the Town of Port Hawkesbury

The Provincial Department of Municipal Affairs is developing a province-wide asset management approach to support municipalities with infrastructure planning efforts, and Port Hawkesbury has been selected to participate in a pilot project at no cost to town residents. Survey crews will be working on town streets over the next two weeks gathering data as part of the Asset Management Pilot Project.

The data capture work will be conducted seven days a week during normal business hours weather permitting. Motorists are asked to reduce their speed and use caution while crews carry out the work as traffic control measures will be in place. The Town of Port Hawkesbury thanks residents for their cooperation and apologises for any inconvenience.
