Town of Port Hawkesbury Volunteer of the Year

Kelly MacIntyre Hayes has dedicated over 20 years of volunteering to our community. She has tirelessly fundraised, organized and managed sports teams and community organizations. She has been involved in minor hockey for over 15 years serving as a team manager numerous times, as well as serving as a board member and member of the executive. Kelly has served on the executive of the PHAST Swim Club, Can Skate, Port Hawkesbury Figure Skating Club, Strait Pirates, President of the Port Hawkesbury Chapter of Canadian Parents for French, Minor Baseball, Port Hawkesbury Community Parks and was instrumental in assisting with Port Hawkesbury Community Park endeavors.  Kelly continues to canvass for the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Relay for Life.”
