Community member required to serve on Inverness County Home Support Society Board

Inverness County Home Support Society

Request for Board Membership

The Inverness County Home Support Society (ICHSS) is a private not-for-profit incorporated Agency with a mission to provide excellence in delivery of home support services throughout the County of Inverness.  The ICHSS currently provides services to approximately 300 clients across the large geographic region of Inverness County.  With our services, clients are able to stay at home longer, avoid lengthy hospital stays and delay long term care admission.  Approximately 80 clients reside in the Town of Port Hawkesbury, Port Hastings and West Bay Road area with 15 staff working directly in this area.

The ICHSS is currently seeking board member representation from the Town of Port Hawkesbury. The new members should be interested in being a part of a valuable community health program in our area.

For more information about the role and responsibilities of an ICHSS Board member, please contact:

Angela MacEachern, Agency Director, ICHSS                     902-787-3449 [email protected]
